7 Wonders: Babel

Players influence a changing set of global laws by drafting quarter-circle tiles before play and by placing them during the game. Each law tile alters core rules for everyone while it sits on a circular display, and subsequent tiles can cover earlier ones; players score points for how many tiles they have contributed. A separate module introduces an age-specific great project that levies a tax on playing cards of a particular color. Players pay the tax to claim tokens from the project; if all tokens are removed by the end of the age, token holders gain bonuses, while remaining tokens trigger penalties for players who lack one. Both modules integrate with the base drafting, building, and resource mechanics.
