Age of Steam Expansion: Mississippi Steamboats / Golden Spike
This expansion includes two maps for Age of Steam. On the Mississippi River, players build railroads and steamboats to transport goods between port cities and moving river vessels. Steamboats can carry goods, provide an income bonus when supplied, and change position each turn. The Golden Spike map depicts the 1860s race between the Union Pacific and Central Pacific railroads. In teams, players deliver goods to cities along the transcontinental route to reveal hidden track and advance toward Promontory. The game ends when a team reaches the destination, with the opposing team eliminated if only one side arrives.
