Steam

Players build rail networks and deliver goods across a changing map, competing to complete the most profitable routes. On each turn players lay track, upgrade towns and stations, improve their locomotive, and pick up and deliver cargo to score deliveries and generate income or victory points. Players balance investment in infrastructure and trains against the need to make long, lucrative runs. The game uses double-sided and modular maps with terrain and town placements that affect route planning, and supports multiple player counts with components for up to six players.
