2018 · Abstract Strategy
Agros
In Ancient Greece, farmers compete for land suitable for growing grapes, barley, figs, olives, currants, and raisins. Players place four seed tiles at a time on open adjacent spaces, aiming to complete lines across the board and gain harvests. As the board fills, tiles belonging to opponents can be removed, creating difficult choices about when to help or hinder other farmers. In games with more than two players, temporary cooperation can influence the contest. The first player to gain six harvests wins.
