Alhambra: Building Sites

A compact expansion adds unfinished building sites that can be bought for half their normal cost. When a player establishes a site they pay at least half the tile’s price, take the tile and a site marker, and place the construction side on the building; the tile may be added to the Alhambra (walls count) or held in reserve but the unfinished building itself does not count toward majorities. On later turns a player may complete a site by paying the full price shown on the site marker (the full amount must be paid, not merely the difference). Completing by exact payment grants an immediate extra turn; completed site markers are removed from the game. At game end players reveal site markers in their Alhambra and discard all money cards of the currency shown on each revealed marker. Certain modules and effects cannot create building sites.
