Amber
In a newly conquered coastal region, barons compete for influence over the profitable amber trade. Peasants gather amber in nearby villages, while merchants travel from distant lands to buy it. Players build roads through the wilderness, placing one tile each turn in a shared play area. These roads connect their castles with amber-producing villages and the other barons’ castles. Since all buyers can use every road, players must create useful links with the networks built by their rivals. The baron whose castle connects to the most villages and castles gains the greatest wealth and prestige.
