Han
Players use colored cards to place houses and emissaries across nine regions on a double-sided board that offers two different rule sets and variants. On a turn, a player plays a region-colored card (or two matching cards as a joker) to place up to two pieces in a region, with a restriction of one piece if the region was empty at the start of the turn; emissary capacity in a region is limited by the number of that player’s houses there. One board side features house sites that straddle regions and special port-city scoring; the other side adds marketplace pieces for competing over full regions. Scoring occurs when regions fill or at game end for regional majorities, adjacency majorities of emissaries, and uninterrupted house sequences along roads; some variants provide one-time fortifications or marketplaces that alter scoring.
