Ancient Sands
Players take the role of treasure hunters searching a hostile desert for valuable artifacts. A 4x4 grid holds stacks of treasure cards, with simple finds on top and more powerful discoveries buried beneath. Each turn, players recruit and use workers to advance their excavation or activate special abilities. Once enough workers are gathered, they can dig up treasures that provide victory points and effects, including tools, clues, and powers that hinder rivals. Event and weather cards introduce changing conditions and risks that must be managed throughout the expedition.
