At the Helm

Players captain a sailboat through a series of nautical challenges, drawing on imagery inspired by old ship logs. The game is solo and centers on deckbuilding: over repeated turns players modify their deck to meet the objectives of three selected challenges before time or health runs out. Each turn the player selects one or two cards from hand and either resolves a chosen card’s ability before discarding it or simply discards it. Incomplete challenges trigger effects each turn, then the player refills hand to three cards and takes damage for each broken heart. The game ends in defeat if required draws cannot be made or health reaches the losing threshold; it ends in victory when the chosen challenges’ win conditions are fulfilled.
