Barbarossa: Army Group North, 1941

A operational-level simulation of the 1941 campaign in the Baltic region as Army Group North advances toward Leningrad. Players command Axis or Soviet forces, maneuvering divisions and regiments across large color maps at a 5-mile-per-hex scale and resolving combat on a two-day turn cycle. The game models combined-arms operations, detailed air operations, weather effects, naval interactions, and an extensive order of battle that includes artillery, rocket artillery, engineers, bridge units, and armored trains. Eight scenarios (plus a learning scenario) let players choose shorter actions or the full campaign, with play emphasizing Axis armored breakthroughs and Soviet defensive construction and countermeasures.
