Battle of the Nations 1813
Set during the 1813 campaign after Napoleon’s retreat from Russia, this two-player game portrays the struggle between the French army and the allied forces of Prussia, Austria, Russia, and Sweden around Leipzig. Napoleon receives hidden mission cards requiring him to occupy and defend specific towns in different districts. The allied player, led by Prince Schwarzenberg, attempts to prevent these objectives. Completed missions award victory points to the French side, while unfulfilled missions provide points for the Allies, with scoring varying by difficulty level.
