Battlecrest: Fellwoods Base Game

Two legendary combatants clash across a shifting, hazardous battlefield made from six map cards. Players build characters from six-card sets (hero, health tracker, and action cards; some sets include a minion or item) and place them on the card-based map in a fixed layout. On each turn players maneuver their figures, play action cards to attack, defend, summon minions, or trigger effects, and manage used cards to power and refocus their character’s battlecrests. The game uses perfect information and emphasizes tactical positioning, timing of card use, and exploiting unique hero abilities; different hero decks create varied playstyles and matchups. The base box supplies two heroes (one with an accompanying minion) and the six-card Fellwoods map; no extra components are required to play.
