Players act as interplanetary traders flying a refurbished ship across a compact, dangerous pocket of space. They buy and sell resources, upgrade ship, crew, and equipment, and attempt to amass enough credits to purchase rare exotic stones before rival pirates do. Each turn players pilot to different planets and resolve card-driven events: market trades, random encounters, solar winds, and pirate attacks. Decisions balance earning money against repairing and outfitting the ship; insufficient repairs risk destruction while delays let pirates claim the stones. The game uses a small deck of event and upgrade cards to manage ships, crew types, equipment, and unpredictable hazards in a tight solo experience.
