Battles of Napoleon: Volume II – QUATRE BRAS 1815

Tactical wargame depicting the 1815 battle at the Quatre Bras crossroads during the Napoleonic Wars. Players command infantry battalions, artillery batteries, and cavalry regiments across a hex-based battlefield, using formations, terrain, and timing to coordinate attacks and defenses. An innovative chit-based command system determines which army may activate a formation, while players choose the formation to act. Orders limit available actions and balance aggressive maneuver against army fatigue. Unit strength remains uncertain and declines through combat. Special rules cover French light cavalry activation, the defense of key structures, and the possible arrival of d’Erlon’s I Corps.
