Bitter Victory: The Invasion of Sicily, 1943
A brigade-level hex-and-counter wargame covering the 1943 Allied invasion of Sicily. Players alternate drawing HQ activation chits to move and fight with the corresponding units, while managing supply lines to maintain operational efficiency. Amphibious landings and airborne drops are represented through dedicated rules. Four scenarios include the historical Operation Husky, a free-setup invasion, and two what-if campaigns. Victory points come from eliminating enemy units, repelling landings and airdrops, evacuating forces from Messina, and controlling key cities.
