Black Hills

Players compete to become the new mayor of a frontier town by gathering wood, gold, and leather and converting those resources into status points; the first to reach five status points wins. Each round players draft two of four character cards to assign to one of four locations (woods, plains, city, jail). Characters—cowboys, settlers, and Indians—have unique abilities that generate resources or enable investments in the city for status points. A separate event deck can be purchased with gold and played later to alter the game state, and players may instead hire gunmen to attempt thefts from opponents, adding direct conflict to the resource-management core.

1 partida en Jesta 2017. De los mejores juegos que probé en esta edición del Jesta. Tienes que situar un personaje en un lugar para conseguir pieles, oro, madera, o invertir recursos para conseguir puntos de victoria. Tiene una estética muy cuidada, una mecánica simple, pero entretenida y la putada es si no te salen cartas de invertir en varios turnos, pero en general nos gustó.
