Heralds collect tinctures and devices to design their own heraldic shields, drawing on symbols and patterns rooted in medieval armorial tradition. On each turn, players either acquire Element cards or place them on their Shield boards by meeting the required combinations and paying their Prestige Values with discarded cards. Herald tokens provide additional actions, while Distinctions award bonus Prestige for careful shield design. The player with the most Prestige when the game ends is crowned King of Arms.
