A two-player game about the political conflict and violence in pre-statehood Kansas, where abolitionist and pro-slavery settlers compete to shape the territory’s future. Players use cards representing key events, people, and forces to influence settlers, control counties, sway elections, move troops, attack opposing forces, build or destroy towns, encourage migration, and request Federal intervention. The order of card play determines both the struggle’s outcome and the story that unfolds.
