Gettysburg

Players command opposing armies in a tactical recreation of the three-day battle, with one side as the Union Army and the other as the Confederate Army. Play proceeds in six half-day turns across a hex map scaled to about 667 yards per hex, with most counters representing corps-level formations. Movement, combat, and timing drive attempts to seize key ground or break the opponent’s army; leaders manage corps maneuvers, terrain effects, and zone control. Components include an 11×17 map, thirty-ish counters, a player aid, and a short rulebook. Designed for two or more players, the game supports solitaire play and runs about 1–2 hours; players supply two six-sided dice.
