2019 · Dice
Calavera
Players mark crosses on a personal sheet using results from rolled dice, aiming to collect as many crosses of each color as possible. Each turn a die result is chosen and applied to the grid, with placement choices affecting scoring and potential interactions between colors. A designated “death zone” on the sheet reduces the value of crosses placed there and can turn positive scores into negatives, so risk management and selective placement matter. The game ends after the sheets fill or a set number of rounds, and the player with the highest total score from all colors wins.
