Players cooperate to lead a band of survivors through a decaying lagoon city as its foundation begins to fail and the dead rise from the waters. Gameplay alternates nights of trench-and-barricade defense against waves of rotting Infected with days of movement across a tremor-shaken city, where players scavenge routes, contend with powerful boss enemies, and race to one of several escape options before the Leviathan’s awakening sinks the settlement. Progress is tracked across rounds of night and day, and final scoring reflects objectives achieved and threats survived.
