Catan: Traders & Barbarians

A compilation of scenarios and variants that adds modular rules to the base game: fishing grounds, river tiles, caravan routes, invading barbarians, and tasks tied to a central castle. Players build roads, settlements, and trade routes while managing new resources (glass, marble, gold) and special pieces such as knights and commercial chips. Scenarios change objectives and board layout — some expand rivers and fishing, others introduce caravan scoring or a barbarian invasion that must be repelled. Included variants add two‑player rules, event cards to replace dice, a harbormaster scoring card, and optional robber rules, all designed to mix into regular play or combine with other expansions.
