Drivers compete in a brutal cross-country car tournament where the grand prize is citizenship in a stratified future society. Players choose a vehicle, a driver, and a loadout of weapons, then manage gear, movement, and attacks as they race from the West to the East Coast. Gameplay uses unique card options tied to those choices; players accelerate, ram, shoot, and react to road events and hazards that can upend plans. Positioning, resource management, and timing determine who reaches the finish line alive or not.
