Dixit: Origins

An expansion set of 84 illustrated cards that adds new surreal, fantastical imagery to the base game or can be slotted into an existing card pool for more variety. Players take turns as the Storyteller, select a card and give a verbal clue (a phrase, sentence, song line or other prompt) that they feel matches the image. Other players submit a card from their hand that best fits that clue; all submissions are shuffled and revealed, and players secretly vote on which image they think was the Storyteller’s. Scoring rewards the Storyteller only when some (but not all) players identify their card, and also rewards players who receive votes for their submissions or who correctly guess the Storyteller’s card. Play continues until a player reaches the target score.
