Dixit

Players take turns as the storyteller, choosing one of the six illustrated cards in hand and offering a brief clue — a word, phrase, or sound — that relates to that card’s surreal image. Other players each select a card from their own hand that best matches the storyteller’s clue and submit it face down. The storyteller shuffles the submitted cards with their own, reveals them, and everyone (except the storyteller) secretly votes for which image they think inspired the clue. Scoring rewards the storyteller and correct guessers only if some, but not all, players identify the storyteller’s card; alternative results give points to the other players. The game ends when the deck is depleted or a player reaches the target score, and the highest score wins.

Everything fits into the new edition's insert (420 sleeved cards - I think this is the maximum), the new voting dials are perfect. The more I play it the more I appreciate its simplicity. It just works, and it turns out I usually prefer to play it over other similar 'artsy' games that are more convoluted. + Odyssey + Anniversary + Revelations + Journey

Can the storyteller vote?

No — the storyteller does not vote during that turn. (Rulebook, p.1)

Am I allowed to vote for my own card?

No — you're not allowed to vote for your own image. (Rulebook, p.1)

Do I show my chosen card when I give it to the storyteller?

No — give your selected card to the storyteller secretly (without showing it); the storyteller then shuffles all received cards with theirs and places them face up. (Rulebook, p.1)

What happens if everyone or nobody finds the storyteller's card?

If all players find the storyteller's image, or if none do, the storyteller scores 0 points and every other player scores 2 points. (Rulebook, p.1)

How many points do the storyteller and correct guessers get when only some players find the card?

When some (but not all) players find the storyteller's image, the storyteller scores 3 points and each player who found his image also scores 3 points; additionally, each non-storyteller scores 1 point for every vote placed on their image. (Rulebook, p.1)

What happens at the end of a turn and how does the game end?

After scoring, each player draws back up to 6 cards and the next storyteller is the player to the left; the game ends when the last card from the deck has been drawn and the player furthest on the scoring track wins. (Rulebook, p.1)
