Evan1.6 The player and hut pieces to this game are beautiful, the fireballs are nice to hold, but every other bit in this game seems shoddy. The pieces representing the different things your dragon fights don't seem well thought out, as they all look remarkably unlike each other. It just has the look of some bits that were lying around. The gameplay itself is overall fun, although for combat you roll fireballs into this tower, where they land in 1 of 4 sides, and one has to land in the fight side to hit the thing you are fighting. We found the tower to be kitschy but infinitely more frustrating than just rolling a D4. It's like rather than random chance, you can't kill what you need to kill because you suck at an impossible dexterity game. Really, the issue is, the balls don't land evenly on all 4 sides. It's much much harder to land a fireball on 2 of the 4 sides, which makes it difficult when you are randomly dealt a major point goal to kill X amount of one of those two types. I'm going to take a break from this game. There's a lot to like, I just don't know if it mechanically works... but the idea of replacing the cool tower with D4s to make it work is kind of heartbreaking in it's own right. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :nostar: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :nostar: Multiple plays stay interesting :nostar: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::nostar::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
