Trolls and Princesses
Players lead one of several troll clans in a worker-movement game set in a folkloric mountain world. On each turn, players move troll figures to collect resources, recruit humans, swap changelings, dismantle church bells, kidnap princesses and babies, build up their cave, and cast troll magic. Actions earn favour points from the mountain king; some terrain and items (bells, steel, sunlight) impose risks or restrictions on trolls. The game resolves over a series of rounds and the player with the most favour (victory points) at the end wins.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
How many trolls do I move on my turn and what actions can they take?
You move two trolls each turn; each troll takes the action available where it ends (the cauldron/action spaces) as part of the per-turn sequence (reveal round card → move two trolls → draw a card). (p.7)
When I use the Mining cavern, do I always get the resource shown or do excavation sites work differently?
Mining cavern actions let you take the resource indicated for that mining space (diamonds, gold bars, or obsidian); excavation sites are separate spaces with their own rules for what you gain and how they are replenished. (p.8)
In the Build cavern action can I place two cave tiles anywhere and can I build an outpost at the same time?
The Build action lets you place up to two cave tiles but you must follow the tile-type and layout placement rules on your board; building an outpost is a specific build option with its own cost/effects and isn’t automatically combined with arbitrary tile placement. (p.9)
How do I claim a King's card—do I have to spend an action or resources?
Claiming a King's card is a free action: place a clan marker on an unclaimed King's card and immediately take and activate that King's tile (you do not use one of your two troll moves to claim it). (p.12, p.13)
Do troll cards score during the game or only at the end?
Troll cards are evaluated and score VPs only at the end of the game according to each card’s listed end-game conditions. (p.15)
