Eagles in the Sky

Combat in the skies over the Western Front from mid-1917 until the end of the First World War. Players command flights of one to six aircraft on patrol, reconnaissance, balloon-busting and other missions, using cards to maneuver, gain position and attack enemy planes. Engagements last eight turns and include random events, initiative and aircraft-specific abilities. Campaign play covers five days of missions, with players managing pilots, fatigue, aircraft damage, losses and replacements while flying aircraft such as the Fokker Dr.I, Sopwith Camel, SPAD XIII and Fokker D.VII.
