This grand tactical simulation recreates the Battle of Preussisch-Eylau, fought against the Russians in the winter of 1807. Players command large Napoleonic infantry formations across a geomorphic map that governs movement and positioning. Forces activate alternately, while simultaneous modified die rolls resolve combat. Units suffer step losses as the battle develops. Revised series rules streamline play and portray the flow of a Napoleonic engagement at a scale of 500 yards per inch, one hour per game turn, and 1,500 soldiers per strength point.
