Esoterica
A modern occult roleplaying game about Adepts—mystics, magicians, and occultists who seek to cross the Veil into a greater reality. Characters pursue power through Arts, supernatural Mysteries, and magical Rituals, but their growing abilities cause corruption that only Soul Jars can contain. Players steal these artifacts from rival Adepts or recover them from ancient ruins while contending with government agents and beings from beyond the Veil that feed on corruption. The cycle of gaining power, suffering corruption, and seeking Soul Jars drives play, creating conflicts of mystery, intrigue, and action.
