Ex Libris: Revised Edition
Players collect rare books and build a personal library in a fantasy town, competing for a coveted council seat. Each turn players send assistants to village locations to acquire tomes, then arrange and shelve them to satisfy inspection criteria. Scoring rewards alphabetical order, shelf stability, standout works, and collection variety while penalizing banned books. Location powers shift during play, and timing is important because scarce books reappear at specific spots. The revised edition streamlines components and presentation, uses screen-printed assistants and updated tiles, and replaces the folding town board with scoring reference tiles.
