Flux
Players take the roles of rival wizards who cast spells to summon creatures and reshape the battlefield by placing or destroying terrain markers. Creatures have movement and combat values; combat resolves by rolling a die and adding combat strength, while spellcasting depends on spell range and simple checks. As a wizard’s terrain surrounds more flux globes, available spellcasting power increases. The game runs ten turns and the player controlling the most Flux (globes) at the end wins. Rules are compact and mechanics are straightforward, emphasizing quick tactical decisions over complex bookkeeping.
