Defend the Soviet Union against the German invasion on the Eastern Front from Operation Barbarossa through the final Soviet offensives. Players command German, Soviet, and Axis minor forces across a single mounted map, managing combat through variable-strength chits as Soviet effectiveness increases over time. Six scenarios cover major campaigns including Stalingrad, Fall Blau, Operation Uranus, and Operation Zitadelle, along with a 22-turn campaign covering the full conflict. Scenarios take 2–5 hours, while the complete campaign takes 8 or more hours.
