Golan: The Last Syrian Offensive

The Fire & Movement combat system goes to the Golan Heights during the October 1973 Yom Kippur War. This two-player operational-level wargame simulates the Syrian offensive against a heavily outnumbered Israeli defense. Players maneuver formations and commit limited artillery, air strikes, and other support fire during attacks, while Syrian surface-to-air missile batteries threaten Israeli air support. An attritional combat results table models casualties and damaged formations, making maneuver, firepower, reinforcement timing, and asset management central to the battle.
