Hawken: Real-Time Card Game

Based on a video game, this real-time card game puts players in control of heavily armed combat Mechs. Each deck includes primary and secondary weapons, thrusters, special abilities, and other high-tech equipment. Players draw and rapidly place cards to prepare for combat, risking overheating in the process. Unplayed cards can be placed face down as cover to absorb some damage. A round ends when a player takes the FIRE! button, after which Mech speed determines the engagement range, weapons fire, and heat is generated. Tactical decisions are as important as quick reflexes.
