Hot Potato

A fast-paced elimination game in which players pass a potato around while music or a timer runs. When the sound stops or time expires, the player holding the potato is eliminated, and play continues until one player remains. Earlier versions used a lighted taper or an actual hot potato, while later editions introduced concealed plastic pans, wind-up mechanisms, and talking electronic potatoes.
