Hulo!
Players race to complete a crossword using Hawaiian vocabulary tiles. Words may include names of people and places, and players can use two-letter words or repeat a word; okina and kahako markings are not required. Special pieces alter play: Ewalu requires an eight-letter word, Akau and Hema make players pass tiles right or left, Ku acts as a wildcard or can disrupt another crossword, and Ea protects a crossword from these effects. Pronunciation and definitions are included for reviewing the words used during the game.
