2018 · Word Game
Just One
Players cooperate to help one teammate guess a hidden word using single-word clues. Everyone except the active player writes a one-word hint, then identical clues are canceled and only the unique words are shown to the guesser. If the active player names the correct word, the team scores a point; passing scores nothing, and a wrong guess loses a previously earned point. Rounds rotate the active player, and the group aims to maximize correct guesses while avoiding duplicate or misleading clues.

Vic Granell8.0 Very good party game that may suit many families!!!
Vardak7.7 Quite smooth funny game, perfect for quick games on friends meetings. It's a words game where we have to find a non common descriptive word. This mechanic makes the game so funny and tricky.
Mohasz7.9 I had a lot of doubts for a game that I considered almost shamefully simple. That is until I actually tried it and realized it just works. Usually too easy though.
Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Can I write a phrase or more than one word as my clue?
No — each player must write a single word as their clue (a digit, number, acronym, onomatopoeia, or special character counts as a single word). (p.2)
Can I give a different form of the mystery word (like a plural, gender change, or conjugation)?
No — the Mystery word written differently or variants from the same word family (plurals, gender differences, spelling variants) are invalid and treated as identical/forbidden clues. (p.2)
What happens if two or more players write the same clue?
All identical clues are cancelled during comparison by tipping those easels to hide them, and the active player will not see cancelled clues; if every clue is cancelled, the card is returned to the box and the turn ends. (p.2)
If the active player says a word that sounds the same but is spelled differently, does it count as correct?
Yes — a guess that has the same pronunciation as the Mystery word is considered valid. (p.2)
What are the consequences of a wrong guess or choosing to skip?
A wrong guess means you return the current card and the top card of the deck to the box; if the active player skips, return the current card to the box (and on a final-turn wrong guess you also remove a previously guessed card). (p.2)
How does the 3‑player variant change clue writing?
With 3 players each person uses two easels and writes two clues (so each player provides two clues), and identical clues are still cancelled during comparison. (p.3)
