Into the Fire

An unnatural forest fire threatens a Catholic center for contemplation and prayer while local resources are stretched thin. This introductory horror roleplaying scenario challenges 3–6 beginning characters to investigate the crisis and determine whether the fire can be stopped before it reaches the center. Designed for a four-hour session, it can also be adapted for shorter or longer games or incorporated into a campaign. The scenario includes pregenerated characters, guidance for game masters, and advice for portraying the elusive villain. It uses a rules-light custom 4-6-8 dice system and features occult themes and a kidnapped child.
