Iron Curtain

Two players reenact Cold War geopolitical struggle as rival superpowers vying for global influence. Play consists of a shared pool of 18 cards that players place one per turn to form a changing, card‑shaped world map over nine turns. Each card affects regions and unit placement, forcing tradeoffs such as concentrating power in Europe at the expense of Africa or contesting islands in the Caribbean. Turns are short and tactical: choose which card to play and where to place or move pieces, then resolve influence and conflicts. The game emphasizes timing, card choice, and reading the opponent in a compact, strategic format that finishes in about 20 minutes.
