Kesselring's War: Decision in Italy 1943-44

An operational-level two-player wargame covering the campaign in Sicily and southern Italy from July 1943 to February 1944, from Operation Husky through the Allied landings at Anzio and the first battle of Monte Cassino. Monthly turns and a map of 30-kilometer hexes portray the campaign through ground, air, and naval units. Action Points model logistical and command constraints as the Allied player seeks to capture major objectives, while the German player conducts delaying actions, counterattacks, and defensive operations to hold the line south of Rome.
