Kodama Forest
Spring arrives and players cultivate two adjacent forest plots populated by bamboo, flowers, pandas and butterflies. Each round every player places one terrain tile on the board to their right and one on the board to their left, jointly filling shared screens of dirt and numbered spaces. Forests incur penalties for uncovered dirt, and the game ends when a single board has all of its high-value dirt spaces filled. Players score both of their neighboring boards and the lowest combined score among players determines the winner, forcing a continuous balance of cooperative placement and competitive planning.
