A melancholic, eccentric world on the verge of its own industrial revolution is inhabited by beings shaped by a slightly different evolution, with a touch of the supernatural. Players take the roles of investigators serving a decaying kingdom, tracing uprisings, ghosts, nonhuman beings, cults, and assassins. Cases combine mystery and horror with occasional humor and human tragedy.
