Lemur Tails

Two players each manage two lemurs and build each lemur’s tail by playing numbered black and white tail cards that must alternate color and be the same, +1, or -1 in value; jokers match color only. Players take turns adding cards to tails, playing sun-worshipping lemur cards for special abilities, or both. Sun-worshipping lemurs grant actions such as drawing from the market, stealing the last card of an opponent’s tail, taking a random card from an opponent’s hand, or discarding and redrawing up to three cards; additional lemurs are gained by adding three or more tail cards at once. Victory is determined by comparing each player’s shorter tail: the player whose shorter tail is longer wins, so players must balance extending both tails rather than focusing on a single long tail.
