Try to keep the French Revolution alive from 1789 to 1802 against foreign armies, counter-revolutionary forces, and repeated unrest in Paris. In this solitaire game, manage key events and decisions as you defend republicanism, suppress monarchy and despotism, and attempt to spread the Revolution by liberating neighboring states. Each unit represents an army, while turns cover a variable number of weeks. Suitable for solitaire, cooperative group, and classroom play.
