Loot of Lima

Pirates seek treasure hidden on the Island of Cocos before the Spanish arrive. Deduce where it is buried or die trying. Two of 24 location tokens are removed to mark the treasure's hiding places, while the remaining tokens are distributed among the players as places already searched. Roll three dice to determine which questions can be asked, then share information about searched locations. Combine overlapping clues to identify the locations that have not been searched and locate the treasure.

Very much enjoyed the first couple of plays. However with every play the shortcomings began to be highlighted. The art direction is not consistent. Many aspects are well thought through and many are just bad choices or questionable at best. Font choices on the dice? Why do all characters (and hence their tokens) look the same (shapes & colours)? Why does the damn thing not fit in the box? Soon after I played SEARCH FOR PLANET X, and there was no looking back.
