Maelstrom (Tabletop)
A role-playing game set in 16th- and 17th-century Europe, with rules adaptable to other periods and locations. Players create characters, undertake livelihoods and adventures, and resolve combat, wounds, healing, aging, experience, and magic through detailed systems. Firearms are absent from the setting, while period knowledge is supported by extensive background material and a herbal pharmacopoeia.
