Mercante in fiera

An Italian trading game with illustrated cards featuring references to modern board games. The classic version uses the traditional auction-based rules, while the modern version adds a board, coins, and a different trading flow. In the modern version, cards are dealt to all players at the start. On each turn, a player acts as merchant, viewing three losing cards for free or paying to view a winning card, then selling, exchanging, or buying a card from another player before revealing a losing card. After each player serves as merchant several times, winning cards are revealed and award coins. After three rounds, additional coins are gained or lost based on completed deals, and the player with the most coins wins.
