A historical wargame covering the 1809 campaign in Extremadura and the approaches to Madrid, including the battles of Medellín, Talavera, Almonacid, and Ocaña. French, Spanish, and British forces maneuver across detailed maps while players manage operations during a period of slow communication and divided command. The game includes multiple scenarios, color maps, 560 unit counters, two decks of cards, and player aids. Hexes represent approximately 480 meters, turns cover one hour, and each strength point represents 400–800 men.
