North Africa: Afrika Korps vs Desert Rats, 1940-42

An operational-level simulation of the fighting in the Western Desert from Operation Compass through the final battles at El Alamein. Players command units ranging from companies to divisions across four maps, with each hex representing 5 miles and each turn one month. A supply-based activation system requires players to conserve Supply Units before launching major offensives. Leaders, forts, mines, random events, withdrawals, capture awards, and the Greek Campaign add further operational considerations. Scenarios cover individual operations including Brevity, Battleaxe, Crusader, Gazala, and First El Alamein, along with longer campaign starts spanning the North African campaign.
